During a lifetime we encounter a number of ‘life changing’ experiences. A baby born into the family - new life. The commitment of two people pledging to spend the rest of their lives together - shared lives. And the final days of a loved one as their days on earth come to an eventual conclusion - end of life. These events deserve to be marked with a meaningful ceremony that reflects the true nature of the occasion and the thoughts and feelings of those involved.

In my role as a Celebrant, we will work together to create a unique and personalised ceremony that you can remember for years to come.

About Claire

In 1987 I qualified as a teacher of the deaf and worked full time in that role, living across the UK and Spain with my son until a few years ago.

In 2017 I completed my training at the Holistic Healing College in London and set up my own counselling business, Pathfinder Holistic Healing.

Training as a Celebrant and then an End of Life Doula felt like a natural progression and extension of my holistic business and I thoroughly enjoyed the practical and very thorough theoretical training at UK Society of Celebrants.

I consider it a true privilege to be invited into your family and to work alongside you in formulating the most personal and appropriate ceremony, or to support you when a loved one is approaching the end of life.

I am passionate about all things natural and an advocate for environmentally friendly funeral options and outdoor weddings.

I am easy going and a good listener and I will treat you and your family with compassion and respect.

Services offered: End of Life care; Celebration of Life (funeral, memorial), Celebration of Birth (naming ceremony), Celebration of Commitment (wedding, civil partnership, vow renewal) or other Life Events.
